The decision is your, but lets say that Nunez comes out with certs news and sales news, because they are trying to drive the price up before a split would be announced, and lets say as a example the price was to get over .01 or .02, it can happen with the right news, and then the board decides to do the split after that, maybe the next day, or close that day, and the price closes at .01....the next trading day or the beginning of the post split trading,(because there can be a lag to bring the shares on line to trade, sometimes two days) the price is adjusted for the split, at 500 to 1, the price is now 5.00 a share....so you can either buy now or later, but remember, if folks like the news post split, and investor come in and begin to buy the stock, that 5.00 could become 6.00 very fast......
