The board seems to have collective amnesia today. The June (Liver) conference requires, that is to say requires, that the information discussed in the poster there cannot be released prior to the conference at any other conference -- nor can it be published in a journal prior to the conference. All this was discussed a few weeks ago on this board, and surely you all read it here.
It was my contention that nothing was said in the rules about announcing that information in a PR, so perhaps that form of announcement is not out of bounds. I'm not sure about that. What I am sure about is that Goose wondering about why we haven't made announcements in earlier conferences is way off base. We're not allowed to.
This does NOT mean we aren't going to release the topline NASH results at the conference -- or perhaps before, in a PR. We are.
