It may not be as bad as "they" want us to think as far as the 85 billion in "cuts." After 85 billion in less spending than planned, we will still spend 15 billon more than last year, and are on track to be in the hole another 1.5 trillion this year.  Income for the US approx. 2.2 trillion.  Expenditues approx 3. 7 trillion.  But saving money on fuel is a very good idea everywhere.  My best to you,  Jim
