yes, i agree with that.
My question is - if we all know how great this drug is (or at least think we know), then why hasn't anyone made an aggressive move on this company?
We hit our primary endpoints in HIV. Sure, the BLA was a disaster, but we have robust data that proves efficacy beyond shadow of a doubt. And We have data from the other indications that isn't complete - but the analysts at big pharma can surely parse the data to figure out what value there is.
Put another way, given the froth in the pharma market right now, how has one of two of them not stepped up and said, "here is a potential platform drug - clearly the company has had major challenges on a number of fronts operationally, but we don't care - we just want the drug - and don't want our competitors to get it."
I just don't get it. And no, i don't buy into the conspiracy thing that BP is colluding to bury this drug. They are competing with each other - they do not work together in some secret clubhouse. If one of them saw a chance to get ahead of their competitors with our drug, they would jump on it I think.
