Re: KenChowder #119986
Long Haulers is extremely hard to define with a whole bunch of "take a domestic Chablis and call me in the morning" symptoms and some key easy to monitor symptoms.
I feel leronlimab with its safety is a perfect drug to handle most of the symptoms and over the counter drugs for the rest. Dr. BP was right about one thing, a long extended trial during a pandemic is stupid, people need help now. The FDA saw what happened with our first LH trial, why are they not helping us with a the next.
When this whole Pandemic is over, we need to find out why we have this antiquated trial system in a pandemic. Why do you need a placebo trial arm with thousands of people dying, isn't that SOC. So when leronlimab has success in March 2020, why does it take until March 2021 to do a trial. If you looking at 28 days, wouldn't we know by May 2020 and if we're an ongoing trial, dose variations and timing would be learned on the fly.
