Facts would be poor decisions being made or literal statements that were made from an individual. Facts would be deals that were done yet never moved forward or deals made that were horrible deals or having to go to court and getting your pants and everything else taken from you in court. Facts would be saying one thing and doing the total opposite. But showing facts.

You can believe a rock is pink when it is in fact brown and you telling everyone it is pink isn't going to change the fact that it is brown, unless you knowingly twist the facts about it.

You can dislike a person so much you want to believe anything against them which makes it very dangerous with anything they do and how you feel about them. You start looking for failures everywhere and try to show them out.

Joe screwed up. Not a belief. These are facts that we can look back on now. and we see in lack of communication among other things. But crap like attacks from certain people did not help in any way and in fact did hurt tremendously and showed agendas of their own.
