Re: Borel Fields #119474
Borel,
Hopefully the doctors will chime in, until then you've got the rest of us.
My understanding is that brain fog is the inflammatory result of the immune response to spike protein, beta amyloid, tau proteins, NF-light, etc.
Insufficient clearance of viral proteins, cellular debris, etc. activates microglia and their kin, with production/over-production of IL-1, IL-6 and IL-8 causing the brain fog.
Attenuating the immune/microglial response, irrespective of the initial insult (stroke, covid, Alzheimers tau protein/B-amyloid, ALS SOD1/TDP-43/C9ORF42) can reduce symptoms and slow disease progression. Thus my belief that leronlimab, while not directly addressing any of the ultimate causes of neurodegeneration, can ameliorate the proximate cause / exacerbation from neuroinflammation.
Hopefully reasonably explanatory, not contradictory.
