Sean,
I'm far from a conspiracy theorist, but it is my suspicion that the incidence of LH is higher than is generally accepted. Some of this I believe is due to lack of consensus on what constitutes LH. The larger issue IMO is that recognition of a huge problem while simultaneously admitting there are few or no solutions is losing proposition for medical and political leaders.
It is exceedingly frustrating that not only have good solutions not been found, but the mechanisms to find solutions are still not set.
We of course believe leronlimab will be one if not the solution. We may be wrong, but for heaven sakes let's get some trials underway. If existing therapies are insufficient, prove that they do not work and move on to the next candidate.
The suffering and costs will no diminish just because we fail to recognize them.
Rant over.
