Nothing new to add.
However, after 16 years I’ve learned it is helpful to new investors to be reminded that older investors are still with them. So, still here. I’ve reduced my position, but it still amounts to tens of thousands of shares.
Stocks are just pieces of paper, but one can’t help but experience some fondness for the people here and the company, even Joe. That makes it personal. When it is personal, and you get treated this way, it feels like a betrayal. Feelings should not be part of investing, but personal communications, meeting company personnel, and many thumbs up (sometimes thumbs down) make it more than an investment.
I have also lost thousands of dollars, not once, but twice. However, my sympathies are with newer investors who believed, over-invested, and are suffering physically and emotionally. Truly sorry, guys. Like they say, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” On 12/03/2018 Icouldn’t imagine feeling like this again.
