Thank you (and Buildit) for your posts. I suspect [strongly] that some on here believe that my motives have been negative only when it came to the success of GNBT and NuGen, and from reading the posts (especially out of context), I can see that being the impression. To give them a little context, however, it was about a year ago that I first started posting on IH, and my initial issue was the "unsanctioned" trading of NUGX on OTC, when we were told that NuGen was going to be listed on NASDAQ, and under the symbol NGIO (the symbol had been reserved the previous September, I believe). No one, including MMPJOE, however, could/would give me any information whatsoever on how NUGX started trading, and who was behind it, despite the fact that filings had to be made in order to trade, not only filed by someone named in the filing, but also containing information that seemed to me to be not readily available. The other unusual circumstance was that it was only the first tranche of the dividend shares that could be traded as NUGX on the OTX, and not the second tranche. I never could obtain an answer from anyone (again including MMPJOE) as to what that would be, and again, information that would be readily known to or ascertainable by, the CEO/Pres/CoB (and perhaps others). This was the issue that first triggered some real suspicion about what was going on with the company, and it likewise is not the kind of issue that management would be proper in telling me (either implicitly or in so many words) that it was "none of my business," as I was (and still am) a shareholder of NUGX shares.
The next issue that arose was the Last Chance for Children fundraising efforts. When I started looking more than superficially at the organization (I'll be kind, and call it that at this point), it turned out that, LCFC was organized for the purpose of curing Type 1 diabetes i children, not providing a COVID vaccine. It was readily available on guidestar.org, that rates charitable organizations. Lo and behold on the website for LCFC itself, however, was no reference at all to DM, or any cure for children. Another red flag. Once again, my posts on this issue were not well-received.
Then came the May CC, and the hoopla surrounding the AZ facility opening. In fact, that facility was supposed to have been finished, and up-and-running. There was no extrinsic (i.e., independent) evidence of that being the case, however, from any source outside GNBT. Again, no one would answer why that would be the case. Unbeknownst to me, however, time was running out to get answers, because other than a brief PR in July, the companies would "go dark" following that CC.
Along the way, and before my participation in IH, there were other events and circumstances that began to lead me to question the prudence of my investment, but like many others (still some on here, I expect), I chose to believe that these were just bumps in the proverbial road of small biotechs, and that everything eventually would get sorted, especially with someone at the helm who appeared to demonstrate a true dedication to both the investors as well as the goals of the companies. As we know now, of course, it was a matter of "all sizzle, no steak" sold to us by a clever person who appealed both to our vanity ("loyal shareholders" and our own desire to be a part of something that would benefit many others.
So now, like hylander and others, I am infuriated by the cowardice exhibited by the CEO/Pres/CoB, who will not step forward and tell us what happened. And did you ever notice that Joe never personally told anyone that he or GNBT was subject to an actual gag order? That was the inference some drew, and who was he to kill that rumor? If he actually had announced that there was such an order, then anyone could go to the source to confirm it, and if it were not true, that in itself would be defrauding investors. And before anyone is inspired to respond by saying "maybe Joe can't tell anyone that he is not allowed to tell anyone," think about just how foolish that remark would be in the context of a fiduciary's legal obligations.
I agree with NYD and others that there are bad tidings coming, because bad things have been happening. When lawyers tell clients not to talk to anyone, it is for a reason; usually, it is for multiple reasons. I am not looking for a "pound of flesh" from the CEO, but I am looking forward to the exposure of the truth.
Oh, and before I forget -
quack, quack, paddle, paddle, waddle, waddle.
Have a safe and relaxing weekend, and pray for those affected by the Ukraine invasion.
