As I mentioned before, I am working as a R&D project manager, and if I would always carry my work related problems home with me, I would not have a life outside of work. Over the years I have learned that it is important to be able to leave your work related problems in your office ... change your personal harddrive, as I refer to it ... and then still be able to enjoy your private life.
So to transfer it to Joe's situation, I can understand when he writes to me, as the CEO of GNBT, that he is unhappy about the current situation, but then leaves his business related problems in his office, and he, Joe the private person, enjoys an evening with friends at dinner with drinks. The photos that you are referring to are those from his private FB page, that only his "FB friends" actually have access to.
I would agree with you, if he would post such photos on the GNBT webpage, and letting the world know that the GNBT staff had a Xmas party in southern FL, enjoying the good life.
But I do not think that it would help anyone of us, if he'd spend his evenings home alone sitting in a corner of his living, facing the wall, crying over the bad situation he is in as CEO of GNBT.
The important part is that he is actually working in the best interest of the companies and us shareholders whenever he is in the office, and then he needs to do his best to overcome the "serious issues" he and the companies are facing, and once "gag order" or whatever else that is keeping him from publishing updates to shareholders is removed, that there are actually good news that he is able to present to all of us.
