I find it difficult to explain why even if GNBT in some sort of "blackout" restrictions, the underlying stand-alone companies it owns in whole or part (I'll call them subsidiaries, though they may not technically be that) cannot come forward with statements that they are in operational mode, or that they are proceeding with company-specific initiatives. How would an SEC civil order be able to restrict stand-alone companies from disseminating information on business activity?
