You could have added another puzzle piece: the sudden, overawing, and awesome presence of Sidley Austin. Not only did the company almost casually blow the 13D highjacking clean out of the water, they have Amarex all set to be stomped on in the near future. The reason it's a puzzle piece, BJJ4? Sidley Austin is a top-of-the-line brand-name grade-A luxury-class three-Michelin-star #1-ranked law firm. For them to suddenly swoop down to help us took, of course, money, but it is also a bit of an enigma -- did they come at the bidding of a mysterious stranger, who was interested in partnering/buying the maiden in distress in the dark forest of biopharma enchantment?
P.S. "Buying the maiden in distress" doesn't ring all that tunefully. Revise, revise, revise.
