Just dawned on me.
I worked many jobs in DOD in California. All projects had a "Project Engineer" and a "Program Manager ".
The Program Manager made sure all contractual agreements were met such as milestones, delivery/ accts receivables etc. They deal with the customer.
Project engineers dealt mostly with internal engineering of the project.
"Senior Program Manager" is Sree's title meaning he's dealing with a customer(s). KEY IS DEALING WITH CUSTOMER(S)
