Right on point. And no communication means no financial reporting for several quarters, reports which are for the benefit of stockholders. If you have a public company there is a fiduciary duty to disclose, profits,losses, shares, holdings, acquisitions, sales, and adjustments to earnings, nothing.... How can the SEC allow this situation? Maybe this company is entitled to set its own rules, or maybe this isn't a viable company with any principals in place.
