As a young adult with some money burning a hole in my pocket, I was in a small group when I asked the horse stable owner if he had anything for sale. In front of the group, he gently schooled me by saying, 'Well, the whole place is for sale for the right price.' (Group chuckling at my expense, like courteous subdued golf claps. Hey, weren't they wanting to ask the same question?)
