If they entered into a settlement with NP for his termination (usually called a severance), wouldn't they have to have already 8K'd it?
Leads me to believe what you said here did not happen, at least as of more than four business days ago.
It's possible they are still working out a severance, but if he was to continue to be involved as part of the deal hasn't that boat already passed?
