It's pretty obvious that BP had and has little appreciation of what leronlimab can do. Looking at maraviroc studies they may have not been impressed at other indications, failing to realize the superiority of leronlimab. They may have just just gotten approvals in HIV and went no further. Even Pfizer didn't seem to realize the potential for maraviroc in Covid until leronlimab started being used.
