Long-haulers. Lots and lots of long-haulers. If it's doubling about every 2 days, how long before we have a huge percentage of the population sick and unable to work?
Again -- we had all better hope that Leronlimab or LL combined with some other drugs is going to work for long-haulers. Having even a tenth of the population disabled is going to destroy society as we know it -- and the long-hauler percentage is usually quoted as much higher than that.
One study says that 30% of people who are hospitalized become disabled long-haulers. Other studies look at different populations and come up with different numbers.
