i agree - it's like a vicious cycle. trying to figure out what finally breaks it.
where i come out is that only something massive will break this cycle. a partnership with a big pharma or financial player that brings real clout to the table, and puts the fear of god into these short-selling peckerheads. just not sure data (no matter how good it is) short of a full approval and material sales does anything for us anymore.
As for me, i'm sick of feeling like we're getting toyed with. I buy 5,000 shares and the SP doesn't move by a cent - these people buy 100 shares and move it by several cents.
bring on some big guns - and blow these guys' balls off....
