All of those consequences are legit. However, what you seem to be advocating for… ignoring/abandoning/not undertaking protective measures… would grind the healthcare system into dust. It’s already at a breaking point in many regions. Ditching masks, lockdowns, restrictions etc altogether would be catastrophic for hospitals and healthcare workers.
