I've been quite busy, haven't read this Board at all for many days (and missing it), but I've been thinking about where we're at and how to look at it all. Although 4th inning of a baseball game, or 2nd quarter of a football game may apply for a comparative understanding, I'm thinking more of a horse race right now. If you don't know much about horse racing, think of the Kentucky Derby as a typical example of what goes on. Yes, the race is run and somebody wins, but well before that, the horses are first led to the paddock where they are prepared to run the race. Get saddled up, the jockeys come in and get instructions from the trainers. When it gets close to race time, the jockeys saddle up, and start to get a feel for their horse and how he's doing. Some horses get rattled, some are calm, but then they all start heading out to the track and eventually get there to start parading in front of the grandstands and circling around the track to get to the starting gate. Even then, there can be horses getting jumpy or nervous...lots of ups and downs can happen until finally Flag is Up and off they go to an eventual winner.
My take on CYDY right now is we are in the paddock.
We know we've got a good horse, lots of potential and potentially a great horse, an unproven jockey who's been showing some promise lately, and once we win this step-up race we'll be on the path to bigger races with much bigger purses. But first we've got to get this horse out on the track and let him win this race.
Looking forward to hearing the track announcer say "The Flag Is Up!!"
