Cancer took our son over the weekend, and I am posting this because of the many kind members of this board who responded to me in my efforts to get an EUA of LL for him early last week. Unfortunately, we were too late. His cancer was osteosarcoma, and he fought it for three years. Shortly after I began investing in our company, I informed him and his wife about LL in the hopes that they might tell their doctor, and move forward with it. Only God knows what the outcome may have been had they done that.
But to the many folks on this board wrote to me, offering their sincere thoughts and prayers during the past few weeks... it was a tremendous help, and I was told who to contact to begin the EUA process, which I did immediately. Let me tell you how that went.
I immediately emailed Dr. Kelly, telling him of our son's prognosis (30 yr. old male with osteosarcoma metastasized to spine, lungs- receiving chemo and radiation therapy. Immunotherapy seemed to show some promise).
I don't think two hours went by before I received a call from Dr. Kelly, who began by apologizing for not getting back to me sooner as he had just stepped-off a plane when he got my message.(no shit- really). After giving me his personal contact information and instructing me to have our son's doctor call him, I put the rest in motion. Unfortunately, we were too late, as he passed peacefully, albeit unexpectedly four days later.
I firmly believe that had he gotten this drug a year ago, he would be with us today, I also believe that I would NEVER have gotten the immediate, kind and sincere responses from any other company or group of people than I did here.
I'm not just invested in this company to get the great ROI we will be getting... I stuck around after getting to know some of you, as well as the executives of Cytodyn, and, boy, was I right in my assumptions.
Thank you all for your help and kind words during this ordeal. It really made a difference for me and my family. And Dr. Kelly, who stepped right up to the plate and hit it out of the park for us.
And to those who badmouth this company, its investors and the great people of Cytodyn who are all working 24/7 to save the countless sick out there- you have an ass-kicking coming to you.
Thanks- Dr. Kelly and all of you... so very much.
