When you check the Sao Paulo statistics exactly one year ago in November ( BING search ), there was basically the same situation we have yet. Around the 10th of November, <10 COVID death/day were suddenly reported for some days and then on 17th of November 547 deaths were reported.
We have probably the same situation yet, for what ever reason.
btw. the average death rate started to increase at this point again in Sao Paulo, topping at around 923 deaths/day in end of march 2021.
