Well, just had to do it without any further waiting......
I was all set to wait for that "itchy palm" feeling before moving to increase my share count, but I let the tip of my index finger contact a moving blade on my table saw and I was afraid my exposed bone and nerve would throw me off...lol!
Hand surgeon says he will use a technique learned from battlefield wounds that lets the flesh repair itself over 3-4 weeks in a sterile environment (tip of sterile glove taped on the end of my finger), then switch to dry pack for several weeks after that.
Anyway, good analogy for where I feel we are now. We need this new approach. We need to let our team continue to move forward on several fronts, adjusting timelines as conditions dictate. I am Neither a doctor, nor scientist, so I rely on a few family members who are and on my reading of published studies that are current and a few of the good posters here that enlighten me.
Above all else, I just cannot remember, nor has anyone posted details of any bio tech startup that has faced such strong headwinds from so many sources and survived to continue its quest.
I wanted to add 40% to my position, but due to an unexpected pullback (yeah, for all the reasons discussed here as nauseum), I added 66% to my total and now I am actually more concerned about a premature "DEAL" that would be agreed to by a majority (for far less than our realistic potential - say, 3-4 approvals), than I am of an outright failure!
LONG and NOW STRONGER!!
