Additional information from Dr
"1Does anyone on this board understand the meaning of having VISCERAL metastasis at the time of initial diagnosis means for a patient with mTNBC ????
Metastasis to the mesenterium of peritoneal area by the cancer leads to ascites . Yes ascites . As if the patient had severe alcoholic cirrhosis !!! Their abdomen gets hugely distended with 2-7 liters of ascitic fluid which needs to be drained by tapping ( a large needle under US into the abdomen ) on a weekly basis!
61 % of these mTNBC female patients had this visceral metastasis on initial presentation . Nice huh ? Imagine waking up to a hugely distended stomach ?? And then they tell you that your diagnosis is end stage .
This is considered end stage and the doctors who treat them tell them so …
Nothing to do .
But these female patients were given a second chance to live with Leronlimab and their ascites resolved !
This is Huge!
BTD will be granted very soon .
There will be no further delays .
Stay tuned"
