Again, Hylander, you make the mistake assuming there is no progress being/having been made during the last couple of months, just because you haven't heard from the company.
If your assumption would be true, then you would be right, that they should have had plenty of time to work on the 10-K.
HOWEVER, if my assumption is right, and they actually HAVE BEEN MAKING significant progress, but simply are not able to publicly announce outcomes from it. That means that they have been busy with more important things than getting the 10-K out in time.
And BTW, shhh, don't tell anybody that I have let you in an the following secret:
It is typically not the CEO himself, who is working on the 10-K, most of the work is being done by external auditors! So no matter what Joe did in the past weeks and months (being busy at work, or partying at the beach) this has very little to do with the 10-K being ready to be published on time, or not.
