Increased liver enzymes is only one possible hitch. The drug might use a pathway different than the one they anticipated. The drug might have an unexpected prometabolite conjugation, both secondary and even tertiary. The drug could depress or suppress enzymes. Listing these possibilities is not suggesting they have happened. PR's look good. These are merely some of the common unknowns in first in human testing.
