Thanks, Jake, But what happens if one court rules one way and the other court the other way?

Beginning to remind me of Jarndyce v. Jarndyce, in Bleak House. That case is about a large estate where the inheritors sue and countersue until the estate is completely used up, and the case has gone on for years, benefitting no one. Except the lawyers, of course.
