By your own post, you hired a good lawyer, told him to handle details, and went about my business.....Lawsuits have been used throughout my lifetime for many noble purposes, to be certain. Personally, I have been on both plaintiff and defendant side of the argument. Sometimes a suit is brought to right a wrong, exact payment for some debt or another, enforce a contract when one or more parties disagree on what the contract does or does not require, etc.
I see none of that with the 13d'ers. This in my opinion falls into another category. This is one where by the mere threat of the suit and what it may cost in time, money and aggravation, the hope is to have the defendant capitulate in some manner. We have an annual meeting in a few months and I believe there may be a plan playing out in front of this event that is designed to wrest control of this company from the current board (and therefore NP) and hand it over to this 13d group for them alone to decide on a supposedly "NEW" direction.
I know, you should view this as speculation on my part, but after all, we are "speculating" on this stock. I like an "eyes wide open" approach and this plot line is not a new one.
