Agreed. No guidance is, for many with hyperactive imaginations, worse than disappointing guidance. In the absence of you telling me where I stand, I’ll fill in that picture with any number of worst cases scenarios, causing myself much suffering as a result. Much harder (for me) to respond to ‘no guidance’ with ‘no thoughts’.
