I think most of us have known for sometime EUA was not coming from US. For the most part today's news has already been priced in.
So the question for me is " Why now, after the long silent wait?"
It could be influential people (politicians tired of getting their mailboxes blown up) applying pressure for a response that they can quote in a form letter.
It could be that there are good results coming from PI & they need to get out in front of it.. This would explain the poor trial design & willing to help going forward language.
I am not inclined to believe this will effect what is going on in Brazil & India. GLTA.
