To say that stents don't extend life seems a wild proposal. I've had 2 heart attacks and have 4 stents. Last heart attack, 2 heart arteries were 100% plugged, stents opened them up = I lived. No stents = death or open heart surgery. When heart plaque "fractures, cracks" the body quickly tries to repair that area, like when you cut your arm and a scab builds up. The scab over cracked plaque is called a clot, it goes too far and blocks the artery, thus no blood to a section of the heart, = pain = heart attack.
SCA or Sudden Cardiac Arrest = the heart suddenly completely stops pumping any blood, all heart muscles turn off = death in a matter of minutes = no time to call the ambulance = you need paddles immediately. Mouth to mouth might help. SCA is usually caused by Low Ejection Fraction resulting from a heart attack that caused substantial heart muscle permanent damage, which I have.
All this, really no relation to whether or not LL may reduce plaque, which I wouldn't be surprised at all if it can. My opinion of LL has gone up, I am now comfortable to express that it is probably truly a "Miracle Drug". Thus, BP is very concerned, and may be further controlling our share price currently on most days?
