Your friend was invested for two years. If someone is invested that long, they should know what they own by that time. I know most all have not dug down many layers into what QMC can do, or "seen the future" but at least have made a decision on owning the stock and be able to discuss why you feel that way.
Of course, separately, day traders don't care. That's fine for them, but don't ask me to care about them. Day traders are one rung above trolls.
Asking negative 'what if" questions, like "Solar: now or later? Oh, the stock will go down!!" adds nothing to the discussion. Did you read the 10-K about QMC's solar plans? Is QMC saying there will be revenue from solar this quarter?
Asking negative "what-if' questions, is an insult to the poster's own intelligence.
If its just all negative, what are you doing here? Why are they still invested?
