UK variant is still more lethal that wild type / original Wuhan strain, and SAfrican variant transmission higher than WT.. what I haven't seen discussion of is Manaus / P.1.. there's a decent chance it's either descended from the SAfrican strain or their evolutionary pathways converged.. that is the variant of most concern IMO, and signs suggest it has both virulence and transmissibility far exceeding WT.

If you're familiar with some of the computational model studies, none of these reach the projected full potential of the virus, however.
