It's so easy for us to sit on the sidelines and offer counsel without any knowledge about their circumstances (e.g. financial, health care, medical history, etc).

Nor, any accountability for what we offer.

Being your own patient advocate can be overwhelming when faced with an aggressive disease like cancer. Those around the patient can hopefully step in with educated and informed information. Let's hope that those reading this in that situation can do their utmost to be informed to treatments because the doctors are not always either current on breakthrough treatments (like leronlimab) or they are set in their ways for treatments and procedures that they've used for years...successfully or not.

My condolences to you and your family on your wife's passing to cancer. It leaves its mark on all.
