I hope that you are right. But since the DTCC is literally owned/controlled by the big brokerage houses, I am not optimistic. I find it hard to believe that the DTCC will be seriously cracking down on their “bosses”. This sounds like “lip service” to try and appease the congressional committee members by taking steps that sound serious but are, in fact, meaningless.
