The PR says “this critical population” and goes on to immediately bullet point all cause mortality (the primary endpoint).
I think many of you are reading “this critical population” as “the subset of critical patients” when it’s quite likely that wording was meant to convey “these very sick patients”.

I considered that upon first reading, but the paragraph following the 3 points of data relating results seems to indicate otherwise.
