Naked short selling doesn’t show up anywhere other than in profits for the shorters. Short interest doesn’t show it because it’s non located/borrowed shorting. Most times used in conjunction with a real short to ensure the stock goes the way it “should”. That’s why it’s been so hard to prove and so profitable for the ones doing it. The damage from naked shorting happened long before you got here IMO.
