This is not an apples to apples comparison.
With invasive mechanical ventilation death was 41.4%
With oxygen (non invasive) 26.2%
Of course, if there is a mix (as in our trial) the equivalent SOC will be higher than 26.2%. Just name your proportions and calculate the number.
Hint: a split 50%-50% will yield 33.8%
As you can see , depending on how "critical (no pun intended)" the patient is the lower bound for this trial was 26.2%.
