Yes, I get that too when I first open IH. I now wait a couple seconds and then I scroll down to see the new posts.
As far as the advertisement on the messages, I don't see them, I just see something on the bottom left but it never fills out, just something financial as I have Duck duck as my add blocker added onto my browser - GLTU CDiddy
