HIV is a retrovirus. That's why it's so hard to defeat.
At this time there are a lot of drugs available that have made HIV a chronic, treatable condition, instead of an acute life-threatening disease. And, there are fewer people infected with HIV than there are with other life-threatening diseases.
If Brilacidin works on HIV (unlikely in my opinion), great. But it is not the focus of what's needed now.
The rapid mutation of the COVID virus, and the uncertainty of whether the vaccines will work against the new forms, mean that TREATMENTS are the most important thing now to control the virus.
Maybe IPIX can save the world. And I mean that in all sincerity.
