I am speculating here. There could be viruses that Brilacidin cannot completely kill, like HIV, although I have no idea of Brilacidin's efficacy vs HIV. HIV can hide in the human nervous system and I doubt Leo would encourage periodic dosing to treat it given that could possibly encourage resistance to Brilacidin.
