yes, my bad, i paraphrased the study results incorrectly.
I should have said "In countries where CCR5delta32 prevalence is the highest, mortality is also the highest, which suggests that CCR5delta32 may be causative in covid mortality."
Which country is high or low doesn't matter.
This study is just weak.
Doesn't it occur to any of these authors, that "Gee whiz, maybe we should just genotype the covid patients?"
