It reminds me of an old Leave it to Beaver episode where Beaver gets a brand new bicycle. A strange kid admires the bike and asks if he can take it for a ride around the block and bring it right back. Beaver reluctantly agrees. But as the story goes, he never does bring it back but Beaver continues to wait and rationalizes that the kid is good and will follow through with his promise. Deep inside, Beaver knows he's been ripped off but still waits. Eventually, he has to go home and face the dreadful music. I's not so much that that bicycle was stolen. It can be replacd. It's much more difficult to accept the fact that one person would betray the trust of another without a worry or care. Trust. I's a wonderful thing.. When everyone is on the same playing field. I believe there are a few people on the MMTE board still waiting for that bicycle to turn the corner. Unfortunately, nothing suggests any return of anything here. Lesson learned. Trust lost.
