Leronlimab reduces and in some cases stops the immune response attacking patient lungs which is what can kill patients.
Leronlimab doesn’t attack the virus directly but the down stream affects of it connecting to CCR5 receptors does.
As long as any variants/mutations of the virus has the same affect on the immune system there is no effect on Leronlimab’s MOA.
