The number I found shocking most recently when someone told me that the death rate to date from Covid-19 in the US was 1 in 1,000.
When I heard it I thought it must be fake, but upon investigation, I found it to be real.
You may think that is not a high number, but it is.
And, when this thing is done, the number will be even worse. It can't get better because those people already died, so the 1,000 will be worse, will it end up 1 in 500? 1 in 300? 1 in 200? 1 in 100?
1 in 1,000 is a significant number. You would be surprised how fast you interact with 1,000 people in everyday life.
