It's not a question of giving up on Trump but rather coming to the realization of what he has done to this country.
YOU can dismiss culpability for his disastrous, self-serving, response to the pandemic and the resultant economic mess, but more sober observers are and will not be so kind.
History, appropriately, will tear him a new one.
He could sign the COVID Bill with the understanding that Congress could take up debate on a supplemental Bill to come up with the difference between the $600 that would go out immediately and the $2,000 that Trump SAID that he wanted.
Hell, break the remaining $1,400 in two; $700 on 2/1 and again on 3/1.
