The friend and neighbor that got me to take a look at CYDY early this year texted me a while ago. He’s surmising an EUA could happen sooner than the 28 day point due to the situation in California.
It certainly should, but I’m somewhat doubtful it will. The FDA and DSMC seem to be shackled by the rules, rules that were not written with a deadly pandemic in mind. To modify those rules violates their primary tenet of CYA.
When you are out of ICU beds, conducting triage to decide who gets a ventilator and ordering refrigerated trucks to store the bodies in while there are vials of a therapeutic that has shown very positive results in EIND’s sitting on a shelf it’s beyond negligent. These people are going to die anyway, but nobody in a position to make a decision will do so.
If Sully and his copilot flew that A320 like the FDA conducts its business they would have still been reading a checklist when they crashed into Times Square.
Come on DSMC and FDA, prove me wrong and lets see a real Christmas miracle.
