IMO, based on the EIND results, NP’s push to have an analysis at 50 patients and his comments through the S/C trial, NP felt strongly the trial would be halted at 195 and that recruitment wouldn’t need to be sped up (because its costly to do so). Once the DSMC gave the recommendation, and it wasn’t to halt the trial, NP decided to finally throw money and time at enrollment and that approach has been very successful. The 293 will be met very soon and 390 not long after.
